Emission Nebula Sharpless 2-64
4 x 600 sec. thru Ha 6nm filter guided on 8/04/07.
Equipment: 6" f/3.89 newtonian astrograph with MPCC coma corrector and SXV-H9 camera mounted on a G-11.
Processing: Aquired with Maxim D/L, processed in Photoshop CS with Noel Carboni's Astronomy Tools.
This is a dim nebula is ionized by three B1V stars that you can just make out in this 30 minute image. I'd like to do much deeper study of this region.
